MultiTest - Nitrite/Nitrate - 75+ Tests

Seachem MultiTest - Nitrite and Nitrate is a professional grade water testing kit designed for use in delicate freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The kit will accurately test the water and measure nitrite and nitrate levels to ensure a healthy, stable aquatic environment. Nitrite is incredibly toxic, but it should be undetectable in any stable, well-established aquarium. During cycling however, nitrite levels may exceed 20 mg/L. Nitrate on the other hand is relatively non-toxic, but it is good practice to control and maintain nitrate levels to under 20 mg/L. The Seachem MultiTest kit carefully measures nitrite to less than 0.1 mg/L and nitrate to less than 0.2 mg/L in both marine and freshwater environments. The numerical values reported by this kit are expressed as nitrite and nitrate rather than nitrogen, but to convert to nitrogen, simply divide the values by 3.3 and 4.4, respectively. This kit boasts accurate range measurements between 0-25 mg/L for nitrite and 0–50 mg/L for nitrate.

Included with the kit is an opaque multi-cavity test plate with six individual cavities that allow aquarists to test and compare several samples at the same time. Additionally, the simple, easy to read color chart features a 5-centimeter viewing window that makes identifying the specific reading of the test hassle free. Nitrate and Nitrite levels will show detectable changes in the color chart at 0.1 - 1 mg/L increments. As well, though it is not needed to use this kit, Seachem MultiTest includes a reference sample to allow aquarists to verify if there results are as accurate as they should be. Comes with 75 tests.
