The Hornworms can reach up to 10 cm (4 in.) in length, making it suitable for feeding even large reptiles. Its color attracts reptiles' attention and whets their appetite. It's not very fatty, but doesn't contain much protein either. So it's best used as a snack.
Storage:
l can be kept from a few days to around 2 weeks, depending on its size at the time of purchase and the ambient temperature. They eat and continue to grow continuously. The warmer the weather, the faster they grow. You can slow their growth by putting them in a place where the temperature is around 12 to 15 degrees celcius. Place them in a clean container. You can put a wire mesh inside, and put the food on top of the mesh. In this way, the worms will stand on the top to eat and the feces will fall to the bottom of the container. They need good aeration and their feces should be removed every day.
Food:
They will accept some vegetables such as peppers and potatoes, but the ideal remains to give them a commercial Goliath Worm food.
