Small: Approximately 9" long.
Medium: Approximately 14" long.
Wood roots complement aquatic environments, as well as terrariums. Each piece of wood is unique.
Before adding driftwood to your aquarium, it is recommended that you soak it in a bucket (or any other container large enough to hold the wood) filled with warm, dechlorinated tap water for 24 to 48 hours.
This will remove the tannins from the driftwood and ensure that it is thoroughly soaked with water so that it sinks in the aquarium. If, after adding the wood to your aquarium, you find that it is turning the water yellow, you can use charcoal in your filter to remove the tannins, or repeat the soaking process to remove more tannins before placing it back in the aquarium.
